This is the full Previously games library — every title we cover, searchable, filterable, and built to get you from curiosity to playing as fast as possible. Use the search box to find anything by name, filter by platform (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, mobile), and sort the shelf however you like. Every tile is a mini quick-view: tap one and you get the key art, the facts that matter, and the play links before you ever commit to the full page. The full pages go deep — gameplay, story, development history, reception, cultural impact — with real editorial written by people who actually follow this stuff.
Start with the obvious. Grand Theft Auto VI is the event of the decade: Rockstar’s return to Vice City and the state of Leonida, launching November 19, 2026, with our Complete GTA Guidebook covering every title from 1997 to 2026, the interactive timeline, and the real numbers behind thirty years of the franchise. Around it sits the densest fall slate in years. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve (October 2) is the best-reviewed flight-combat game of the modern era — Metacritic 87 on PS5, 90 on Xbox, 88 on OpenCritic — with a 30-mission Strangereal campaign and the series’ biggest-ever cross-play multiplayer. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (October 23) closes the rebooted Modern Warfare saga with Mads Mikkelsen as the Archer, a Korea-set campaign, 12 launch multiplayer maps, the return of DMZ, and the series’ first day-one Switch 2 release in over a decade.
The free-to-play shelf is where 2026 gets weird — in the best way. Aniimo (September 16) is Pawprint Studio’s creature collector with a genuinely new idea: Twining, which lets you become the creatures you catch and use their powers for traversal and puzzles. Thirty million pre-registrations, a 127,000-player Steam peak, and a Mixed review score almost entirely about the store — energy gates, passes, and a shop that arrives an hour in. The mechanics earned the crowd; the monetization has to keep them. Then there’s Bongo Cat, the idle phenomenon that turned keystrokes into bongo taps and peaked at 194,508 concurrent Steam players — Steam’s #4 title in 2025 — while somehow losing its developers money. Two free games, two completely different economies, both essential to understanding what “playing” means in 2026.
Beyond the headliners, the shelf runs deep. The release slate tracks the horizon: Battlefield 6, Black Ops 7, Borderlands 4, Crimson Desert, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Elden Ring Nightreign, Ghost of Yotei, Gears of War: E-Day, Phantom Blade Zero, Hellraiser: Revival, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Valor Mortis, Wardogs — every incoming drop with its date, platforms, and story. The live side of Previously keeps the pulse: the Gamers hub runs real Steam Top 10 player counts refreshed hourly, live Stream Kings every 15 minutes, the Wire news feed, review scores, daily polls, and a live GTA VI countdown ticking down to November 19.
A note on how this shelf is maintained, because it matters: nothing here is a stale snapshot. Release dates get re-checked on the 1st of every month and updated when anything moves. Every game page carries a provenance note — where the facts were verified, where the artwork came from, whether the trailer link is live. Previously is an info-only guide: nothing is playable or buyable here, and the play links go to the official stores (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam) where the game actually lives. If a date shifts, a platform gets added, or a review score settles, the shelf moves with it. Browse, filter, tap a tile, and find your next obsession — that’s what the shelf is for.
The tile behavior deserves one more note, because it’s a site-wide pattern: tap any game and you get the mini quick-view popup first — key art, the facts that matter, the play links — and only then the full page. It’s the same component everywhere on Previously: artists in music, teams in sports, shows in browse, games here. One look, one behavior, no relearning. And if what you want isn’t out yet, the Coming Soon shelf tracks the horizon with presales live — the release slate on the Gamers hub feeds the same dates, the GTA VI countdown ticks down to November 19, 2026, and the Wire keeps the news flowing. Between the shelf, the hub, and the search, there’s no wrong door into the games coverage — just pick a tile and start tapping.
