Mr. Brownstone (Live In Las Vegas, Thomas & Mack Center - January 25, 1992) Lyrics

I get up around seven
Get outta bed around nine
And I don't worry about nothing no
'Cause worrying's a waste of my fucking time

The music starts around seven
We go on stage around nine
Get on the bus about eleven
Sippin' a drink and feelin' fine

We been dancin' with
Mr. Brownstone
He been knockin'
He won't leave me alone
Oh, no, no
He won't leave me alone

I used to do a little, but a little wouldn't do
So the little got more and more
I just keep tryin' to get a little better
Said a little better than before
I used to do a little, but a little wouldn't do
So the little got more and more
I just keep tryin' to get a little better
Said a little better than before

We been dancin' with
Mr. Brownstone
He been knockin'
He won't leave me alone
Oh, no, no
He won't leave me alone, ow!

Now I get up around whenever
I used ta get up on time
But that old man, he's a real motherfucker
Gonna kick him on down the line

'Cause I used to do a little, but a little wouldn't do
So the little got more and more
I just keep tryin' to get a little better
Said a little better than before
I used to do a little, but a little wouldn't do
So the little got more and more
I just keep tryin' to get a little better
Said a little better than before

We been dancin' with
Mr. Brownstone
He's been knockin'
He won't leave me alone
Oh, no, no
He won't leave me alone
Leave me alone

Stuck it in the middle and I shot it in the middle
And it, it drove me outta my mind
I should've known better, said I wish I never met her
Said I leave it all behind, yay
Yowsa!

Fucking Las Vegas, what's happening?
Just wanna let you guys know that this is the first gig in this venue that's ever fucking sold out, in advance
Thank you
We're having, uh, some damn technical difficulties, due to one thing
You guys are the biggest fucking crowd they've ever had in this goddamn building
Sounds louder than Donnington, louder than Wembley
We'll try to adjust our sound accordingly
