American Idiot (Alt. Version) [Demo] Lyrics

Don't wanna be an American idiot
Don't wanna be the inside affiliate
Information age is full of static
And everyone is in a fucking panic
Don't wanna be in with the it crowd
I'll always be the one cast out of
The legions of the idiot side
Don't wanna be the one pretending
Every story has a happy ending
For that's enough to argue
I'm not in love with the radio
I'm not a dog that's gonna follow
My tie is blown with propaganda
Take a look at idiot America
Don't wanna be in with the it crowd
I'll always be the one cast out of
The legions of the idiot side
Don't wanna be the one pretending
Every story has a happy ending
For that's enough to argue
No way
Dreaming the days away
Pretending it's okay
And when the dream is gone
It's never okay
