Blue Moon of Kentucky Lyrics

Blue moon of Kentucky
Keep on shining
Shine on the one that's gone and proved untrue
Blue moon of Kentucky
Keep on shining
Shine on the one that's gone and left me blue

It was on a moonlight night
The stars were shining bright
They whispered from on high
Your love has said good-bye

Blue moon of Kentucky
Keep on shining
Shine on the one that's gone and said good-bye

I wanna take a minute here
And say thanks to all the people
That helped me put this album together
The pickers that did such a great job

On the fiddle, Mr. Tim Crouch
Mandolin, Adam Steffey
The dobro Rob Ickes
Banjo, Sammy Shelor
Acoustic guitar, Scott Coney
And the bass, Tim Dishman

And the harmony and background vocals
Don Rigsby and Mr. Ronnie Bowman
And Keith Stegall and Adam Wright
Thank ya'll for producing this thing
And helping me put it all together
John Kelton, engineer
And Travis Humbert for helping John

I've wanted to make this bluegrass album
For a long time, I'm proud to finally get the chance to do it
Hope you y'all enjoy it
And thanks for listening

Blue moon of Kentucky
Keep on shining
Shine on the one that's gone and proved untrue
Blue Moon of Kentucky
Keep on shining
Shine on the one that's gone and left me blue

It was on a moonlight night
The stars were shining bright
They whispered from on high
Your love has said good-bye

Blue moon of Kentucky
Keep on shining
Shine on the one that's gone and said good-bye
