About this creator
Trymacs — Max Stemmler — is German streaming’s showman: the variety broadcaster who went from Clash Royale montages to one of the biggest audiences in the German-speaking internet. Nearly 4 million Twitch followers, record-breaking events, and stunts nobody else would attempt…
Maximilian Alexander Curt Stemmler — “Max,” known to millions as Trymacs — is German streaming’s showman. The variety broadcaster built one of the largest audiences in the German-speaking internet: nearly 4 million Twitch followers as of September 2026, a YouTube empire with billions of views, and a reputation for over-the-top events and stunts that nobody else on the platform would attempt.
The origin was mobile. Trymacs launched his YouTube channel on March 14, 2016, with Clash Royale playthroughs, montages, and tutorials — the precise, nerdy craft of early mobile esports content. It worked: by 2023 the channel had passed 700 million views and 1.4 million subscribers, and it has kept climbing since — roughly 2.5 million subscribers, 1.5 billion total views, and more than 4,400 videos. The highlight factory never closes.
Twitch is the main stage. He started streaming there in 2015 and grew into one of Germany’s most-followed broadcasters — second only to MontanaBlack in the national rankings, with 3.96 million followers, 18,467 hours streamed, 272 million hours watched, and a career peak of 365,000 concurrent viewers (per TwitchTracker, September 2026). The average hovers around 11,000–14,000 viewers a night: a small city, showing up daily.
The Pokémon record was the coronation. In 2021, Trymacs and Papaplatte’s Pokémon card unboxing drew 356,000 concurrent viewers — a German Twitch record at the time, and the moment the mainstream press learned his name. Two of the scene’s biggest personalities, a table full of cardboard, and a third of a million people watching: the formula of the era, perfected.
The NoFood Challenge was the beautiful disaster. In March 2023, Trymacs and other German creators attempted a week-long no-eating challenge, streamed 24/7 from March 11 to 18, with mini-challenges to make it harder. During a cooking stream meant to tempt the participants, a friend burned a steak on high heat — the smoke alarm triggered, the fire department was alerted, and viewers watched fire trucks and an ambulance roll up to the building live on stream. Nobody was hurt; everybody clipped it. Peak Trymacs: the stunt, the chaos, the content.
The stunt streak is the brand. He has built a career on challenges with real stakes — surviving in the icy clutches of Finland, endurance events, the kind of ideas that make a manager nervous. Where other streamers play it safe, Trymacs plays it loud: the showman’s gamble is that the audience will always show up for the attempt.
The collaborations are the scene. He co-organized the 2021 Spielesause livestream with Papaplatte and Gronkh — German streaming royalty in one broadcast — and his circle runs through the heart of the scene: ungespielt, rewinside, and the extended family of creators who define the German Twitch era.
The format is the machine. “Trymacs REAGIERT” — the reaction highlights — anchor a YouTube operation that also runs vlogs, multi-part Let’s Plays, and the TeamTry second channel. On Twitch the mix is pure variety: Fortnite, Call of Duty, Minecraft, Clash Royale, PlateUp!, Sons of the Forest, and long Just Chatting sessions, live almost daily from 6 or 7 PM CET. The games rotate; the energy doesn’t.
The business is the empire. Happy Slice Pizza and Happy Chips put his brand on shelves; LevlUp and ESN sponsor codes monetize the audience directly; the offline+ehrlich podcast with UnsympathischTV and Varion extends the voice beyond the stream. This is the full creator-economy stack, German edition.
What makes him matter is the archetype. Every national streaming scene has its showman — the one who turns a Tuesday into an event — and in Germany, that’s Trymacs. The records, the stunts, the sheer hours: he understood earlier than most that streaming rewards the people who treat it like show business.
The Clash Royale mastery was the foundation. Before the variety era, there was the specialist: deep, nerdy, genuinely elite knowledge of a mobile game, delivered through tutorials and montages that taught as much as they entertained. The authority he built there — the proof that he had truly mastered something — is what made the later reinvention believable. Audiences follow experts anywhere.
The consistency is the engine. More than 18,000 hours streamed, 2,761 active days, live almost every evening at 6 or 7 PM CET: the schedule itself is the product. In a medium where most creators burn out or drift, Trymacs simply kept showing up — year after year, game after game — and the German Twitch work ethic compounded into an empire.
The community is the co-star. The regulars, the inside jokes, the chat that has been there for thousands of streams — Trymacs’ audience isn’t an audience, it’s a cast. The reactions land because the room is in on them; the stunts work because the witnesses are loyal. A showman is only as good as his crowd, and his never left.
Previously covers Trymacs because the next stunt’s already being planned. The stream’s live at six — bring snacks. (He won’t be having any.)
