About this creator
Etoiles is French streaming royalty: a Twitch partner with 1.28 million followers, more than 12,500 hours streamed, and 69 million hours watched — one of the defining figures of the Francophone scene. The arc is remarkable: from Minecraft PvP and United UHC with Technoblade, to the “Nuit de la culture” that brought TV host Samuel Étienne to Twitch, to live-streamed nights inside the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, and the Centre Pompidou. A ZEvent regular, a ZLAN champion, and one of the last true variety streamers — the French scene grew up around him, and he’s still at the center of it…
Etoiles is French streaming royalty: a Twitch partner with 1.28 million followers, more than 12,500 hours streamed, and 69 million hours watched — one of the defining figures of the Francophone scene, which is itself one of streaming’s most vibrant cultures.
The numbers alone tell a story of endurance: 2,326 active days on the platform, an average of around 5,500 viewers, and a peak audience above 240,000. In a scene that has cycled through metas, dramas, and generations of stars, Etoiles adapted to all of them. The audience that found him years ago never left — and new viewers keep discovering why.
He started where many legends of the era started: Minecraft. Etoiles is a genuine PvP veteran — years of UHC, Badlion servers, and international tournaments — and that grind produced one of French streaming’s great origin stories. He met Technoblade through the competitive scene and teamed with him in “United UHC”; he crossed paths with Spain’s Spreen in a 2017 tournament and beat him. When the QSMP — the multilingual Minecraft mega-server — launched, Etoiles was one of France’s natural representatives, part of the French contingent that took part in the 2022 Pixel War on Reddit, fighting alongside Kameto and the rest of the national community against the American and Spanish armies.
But gaming is only half the story. Etoiles’ great invention is the “Nuit de la culture” — Culture Night — the format where he watches and plays along with Questions pour un champion, France’s beloved TV quiz show, alongside his community. It was through this format that he introduced Samuel Étienne — the show’s famous host, then a France Info journalist — to the Twitch audience in 2020. A French academic study later cited that exact moment as a small victory of Twitch over traditional media: a streamer with a million subscribers pulling a public-television icon into the platform’s orbit. Étienne went on to become a streaming star in his own right.
The Culture Night idea kept growing until it became something genuinely historic. In February 2022, Etoiles launched “Nuit du musée” — museum nights — beginning with the Musée d’art moderne de Paris alongside fellow streamer Ponce. The concept: wander a great museum live, with a social-media star in tow, while tens of thousands watch and react in real time. The format hit the Musée d’Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, and eventually the Louvre itself — where more than 40,000 people watched live, “Louvre” trended on X, and the museum gained thousands of new Instagram followers overnight. The Louvre’s own social team called it a new way of talking about art. A streamer from the gaming world had become, almost by accident, one of France’s great cultural mediators.
On YouTube, that same cultural instinct became “Culture Clash” — a big-stage general-knowledge quiz show, episodes pulling 700,000 to 900,000 views, with 16 legends of the French quiz scene facing off in front of a live crowd. It is Etoiles’ thesis made into a format: knowledge is entertainment, and the audience is always invited to play.
The competitive streak runs just as deep. He took part in ZEvent — the annual French charity marathon founded by ZeratoR, which holds the world record for the highest-grossing charity stream on Twitch — in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024, and returned for the record-smashing 2026 edition (€32.9 million raised), where he finished in the top ten channels with a 91,500-viewer peak. He won the 2021 ZLAN — ZeratoR’s brutal three-day multigaming competition — in a trio with Kenny and a friend, beating 64 other teams for the €50,000 prize. And in 2021 he dove into RPZ, ZeratoR’s two-week GTA V roleplay event, playing Rayou White, a doctor.
Community is the throughline. Etoiles is part of “la team du lundi” — the Monday crew streaming together with Antoine, Baghera, Horty, and Mynthos, including a shared SMP — and has played Minecraft with Aypierre for years while counting Kameto among his closest friends. When he and Antoine did an improvised streamed DJ set, they billed themselves as “Insuline et Nicotine” — a joke about his diabetes and Antoine’s vaping that captures the self-deprecating warmth his community loves.
French Twitch has changed enormously since Etoiles started — games, talk, events, and the rituals in between — and he has remained one of its constants: the variety streamer who became a cultural institution, still live, still curious, still pulling the whole scene along with him.
